We are able to trace our family back to a James McQueen, born around 1773 in Scotland in the small town of Girvan. This webmaster is 6th generation and is descended from James' second son (also a James). Commencing with this second James, many of the births, baptisms and marriages having been recorded in a family bible (and have been verified by reference to original birth, baptismal and marriage records).
